Elev8 Baltimore @ Summit Students from all four Elev8 sites came to Washington, DC as part of the US Department of Education’s National Youth Summit. The Summit, dubbed “Voices in Action,” came at the end of President Obama’s National Youth Listening Tour. It aimed to bring young people together to discuss strategies to ensure that all youth are on track to earn high school and postsecondary credentials. While they were in DC, the Elev8 students also met with Congressional staffers on the Hill, took a tour of the White House, and visited the National Museum of American History.
