Getting Healthy in Baltimore

Bookmark and Share

Good health was on the minds of more than 100 community residents who took part in a day-long health fair sponsored by Elev8 Baltimore and other partners in April.

Residents had the opportunity to learn about healthcare opportunities in the community, participate in health screenings, learn more about managing asthma and other chronic conditions, and take part in recreational activities.

Several prominent elected officials attended the fair, including U.S. Senator Ben Cardin of Maryland, Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and Maryland State Senator Bill Ferguson. Mayor Rawlings-Blake saluted Elev8 for its work to improve the health of students and families.
