This interactive report shows the number and portion of children in each state and congressional district who are eligible for WIC based their incomes. In doing so, it gives congressional members and their staff a sense of how many young children in their districts are potentially affected by the reauthorization of the Child Nutrition and WIC Reauthorization Act. It also enumerates the number of infants and toddlers growing up in low-income families, who are therefore vulnerable during a critical window of their development.
